meet the poet
I started writing poems when I was in my teens; sometimes just for pleasure as I loved putting words together or sometimes to try and make sense of what I was feeling or experiencing.
I met a boy when I was 18 who became my best friend. After seven years of perfect friendship, we fell in love and got married in 2019 and now we have two children.
I absolutely love my work and will write as often as I can just for myself, sometimes waking in the middle of the night to capture a thought. I now write poetry for clients as well and sometimes, if I am feeling brave enough, I share the private poems I write for myself.

The overwhelming feedback is that my clients feel I truly know the subjects in the poem and that their thoughts, feelings and emotions are so well represented that they feel: ‘as if I wrote the poem myself’.
I have written poems for family and friends for over twenty years and I now am lucky enough to write poems for clients all around the world for every occasion.

Through a careful, detailed, honest and personal session with the client, I will gather together the threads of their story and what they want to say. It is important to me to make sure their voice is doing the telling and that their style and personality are reflected in the piece.
